    The list of schools is on their website. A review of previous Bears' (and Bear's) Guides will reveal other, previously accredited schools.

  3. First-rate post skidadl, lets travel.

    The listing of the DETC Process is lengthy.

    I second that opinion! :D

    While I have no way of knowing which schools have already been accredited but not yet announced, there is a list of who are candidates...

    I am no expert, however I feel my money is on these three (or four depending on how you look at it) at least, that they will receive DETC accreditation by 2006:

    * Southern Queensland University
    * AGSM/Lansbridge
    * University of New England

    I wasn't being sarcstic. Perhaps you should go back and re-read your post. I had no idea--and you gave no indication--you were talking about the schools under review. Sorry.

    rich, i wasn't directing my comments towards you.

    The post was not clear - but I think (given the date of the DETC review) most people would have gotten it. The key words:
    OTHER (as in OTHER than CCU) and WERE ( rather than ARE currently accredited).

    If someone wanted the list of DETC accredited schools it would not have had the word OTHER in the question and it would have said ARE not WERE. Or at least that is what I think.

    And does anyone have the answer to that question?

    that's kinda what i thought but i have never been accused of being a talented writter so i take it all in stride.

    the Doc was the one i was irritated at. not Rich the Doc but, the other one on this thread. lol.

    it's a message board so it's all fun and games i suppose.

    Rich, we were talking about the other "doc" on this thread, not you man :)

    I believe we've had a lengthy discussion previously. I respect your opinion and the research and time you've contributed to the forum.

    Shows how each of us perceives differently. Because he used the word "were" and not "are," I figured he meant the newly accredited schools.

    The troll is laughing at you guys. He got you fighting among yourselves with his inane post. I'm glad you quit it. Somebody should check the DETC website periodically for an update on the (other) newly accredited schools. And that's an end of it.

    not a suprise though, i'm pretty slow. :D

    You're too kind, both of you. I truly didn't realize he was asking about pending schools. Looking back, I probably could have inferred it. But then I was in the midst of answering a query about schools that had lost DETC accreditation, and my mind was looking back, not forward.

    Again, thanks for the very kind comments.
