I start this program next week, the way the classes are scheduled it will take me about two years, I don't see how you can do it in one year?

Florida Institute of Technology has quite a few MS degrees that are offered by distance learning including:

• Professional MBA (many concentrations)
• MPA
• MS Aquisition and Contract Management
• MS HRM
• MSM (many concentrations)
• MS Material Aquisition Management
• MS Operations Research
• MS Project Management (IS or OR concentrations)
• MS Systems Management (IS or OR concentrations)

The MS Systems Management with a concentration in Information Systems is designed and granted by FIT; however, currently the course is administered by Bisk Education/University Alliance and the degree can only be taken through them. An MSSM with no concentration or one with a concentration in operations research can be taken directly from FIT. The program offered by Bisk Ed. seems to be very professionally packaged and is offered in 6 accelerated semesters per year. I can see if someone took two classes per semester they would be able to complete the degree in 6 semesters which is only one year. However, taking one course in an accelerated semester seems very difficult.

Along with the accelerated semesters, the MSSM from Bisk Ed. also costs more than degrees taken directly from FIT ($545/hr vs. $395/hr).
