I have been reading this board for a few weeks after finishing Bear's guide. I have 109 credits from traditional universities over the past 17 years. I am pretty convinced that having assessments from Thomas Edison is a way to get that bachelors done, but my reason for the bachelors is that I want to enroll in an executive mba program from a reputable school. My question is, has anyone been successfully admitted to a traditional executive mba program with a non-traditional (TESC) bachelors? I am preparing for the GMAT and according to my "test" runs with previous exams I expect to perform very well. I am a senior manager with a "big five" company with over 10 years of management experience, and I fall into the profile of many schools exec programs. I am interested in Duke, Columbia, NYU, and Fordham. If anyone has either direct experience, or knows of other success stories please let me know. Thanks in advance, Dan
Most executive MBAs... and many traditional MBA for that matter... will admit without a undergraduate degree based on evidence of ability (i.e. experience, grad and/or undergrad courses taken, GMAT, etc.). I would investigate this before I started funneling money to TESC for something which may have limited value.
