I POSTED AN EARLIER MESSAGE TO SHOW THAT MY DEGREE FROM KENSINGTON HAS NEVER BEEN QUESTIONED, AND ACCEPTED FROM A B&M SCHOOL WHERE I EARNED MY MBA... I REALLY THINK SOME HAVE THE FEELING THAT THEIR WAY IS THE ONLY WAY......

I think that several different things have used the name "Kensington University" over the years. There was a California school years ago whose graduates apparently had some success on the state bar exam. There was a Hawaii operation, that was sued by Mr. Brunton's office I believe. And there apparently are some operations in places like India that are still claiming to be Kensington franchises or something. So which version of Kensington are you touting?

And which "B&M school" accepted a bachelors degree from Kensington? Under what circumstances?

I don't think that my way is the only way. I think that everyone has their own reasons for choosing the schools that they choose. I do reserve my right to have opinions about those choices, though.

But I worry when people suddenly appear on the discussion boards and imply that some very dicey things are really good choices for prospective students in general. I fear that kind of suggestion can cause harm.

So I think that proponents of iffy schools have the responsibility both to make a case for the credibility of their school, and to clarify what kind of student it best serves and when it might be most appropriate to enroll in it.

    Same crap, different flight pattern

Your claim that I think my way is the only way is absolutely RIGHT.
Now, you moral pipsqueak, take a look at what is included in my way:

    Regionally Accredited Degrees (USDE/CHEA)
Honorable, Ethical, Substantive Unaccredited Degrees (a few exist)
    Nationally Accredited Degrees (USDE/CHEA)
Foreign Nationally Acccredited "GAAP"Degrees With Quality Control
Some of the California State Approved Degrees
At least one Swiss Canton Approved University's Degrees

Now look at what's included in your way:

a shoddy degree mill used by you to rip off your country.

You're damn right my way is the only way.

My way is to type without the Caps Lock key on, but I'm silly like that.

Thanks for your story, but it really doesn't prove much, yet. An anonymous poster claiming acceptance by an anonymous school regarding an unspecified degree at an unspecified time isn't exactly proof of anything.

It is well-established that accredited schools provide provisions for those with unaccredited degrees to be admitted. What isn't know is the frequency of such things, nor do we know which unaccredited schools are more likely to get such a result.

Kensington operated in California for years as an "Authorized" school. This meant almost no oversight and/or evaluation by the state. When California changed the law, requiring schools to be approved, Kensington was approved. But it lost that approval and "moved" out of the state. (Hawaii, IIRC.) Degrees from Kensington have little or no academic meaning or value, except by accident/omission. But that's what such schools and their graduates rely upon, right?

If you earned your Kensington degree while on active duty, I'm sure it wasn't accepted for entry into your education records. Nor were you eligible to use tuition assistance towards it. Don't those factors indicate your degree being "questioned"?

Finally, isn't going to a B&M school for a master's degree following "their way"?
