I found your board when searching info on KWU - needless to say but you have saved me the hassle of applying and going forward with KWU so thank you.

Here is where I need help. I have grown up with a fortune 500 company and have been in a senior role for quite sometime. I have no prior learning except for a GED. My president has offered to pay for my full tuition to obtain a degree.

Ive been looking for either a bachelor or Exec MBA program that I can complete in around 2 years. Self paced an online are very important to me. Would you know of any that might be able to accomondate my educational situation and allow some credit for experience?

I appreciate your help in advance and also for the information on this board!

I'm a little confused. Are you looking for a master's degree or a bachelor's degree?

    Okay, I think I understand.

It's totally possible to complete a properly accredited bachelor's degree in about a year by taking challenge exams (CLEP, Dantes, and others) through either Excelsior College, Thomas Edison State College, or Charter Oak State College. The best place to get more information on how to do this is through this very informative web site.

There is, however, one very unique university in the UK that will let you totally skip the bachelor's degree and earn a MBA degree by testing out. Edinburg Business School is appropriately accredited by British Royal Charter (the equivelant of regional accreditation in the US). I've always been a little leary of the idea of completing a master's degree without an undergrad degree. I'm not sure how potential employers would take it. Since it's possible though, here's the website...

    Hope this helps,

If you are looking for MBA without an undergrad I would look at this school http://www.ebsmba.com/.

It is the only MBA that you can get that is on par with RA schools. It is very well repected and all you have to do is pass 2 courses and your in.

There are a few DETC MBAs that you can get into without an indergrad. Aspen and Taft have special provisions fpr people with extensive experience. If all you need is credentials and you are already well respected at your job, I would go this route.

I am starting Aspen very soon. Their program looks very good to me and I aready have a good career. I have no intentions of teaching, that would be an injustice to all of the normal learners out there. I would never do that to student. lol
