Just a question and if there is a feedback on this one I would certainly appreciate it. What do you think of Trinity University & Seminary? I am refering to the accreditation they say they have. If you graduate with them, could you teach in a seminary or Bible School? Thanks for your reply.

Long ago and far away, when Bill Grover was still using a training impi and I was a nice sweet person, before you began posting here, there were almost endless discussions of this school. Please use the search function in the top right corner of screen just beneath the red line--yeah, it is hard to see--and prepare to be inundated.

In fairness (why am I doing this???) many people who post here have taken classes and done programs at Trinity Newburgh with entire satisfaction. The courses are substantive and require real work. Trinity Newburgh has NAPNSC (sp.?) accreditation--a tiny unrecognized agency regarded by many esteemed posters as a good-faith effort, and Trinity Newburgh has applied for NCA accreditation.

On the other hand, Trinity is the latest evolution of the late unlamented Toledo Bible College. It has lied about accreditation ostensibly received from a couple of British universities--the word doesn't mean the same thing in Britain and what they had was not in any way tantamount to real accreditation. If you paid extra--maybe this still goes on, you got a shiny sticker on your diploma about the Brit marketing ploy. The same people who operate Trinity Newburgh also operate, and prevaricate about operating, the wildly less-than-wonderful Masters Divinity School in Evansville (just down the road), named--like Trinity Newburgh itself--in such a way as to create confusion with other, quite reputable theological institutions.

Many posters have said that if Trinity Newburgh gets NCA accreditation it will cover a multitude of sins. Mebbe so, mebbe no.

Do use the search function, be prepared to plow through lots and lots of material patiently and carefully, and make up your own mind.

Thank you uncle janko for your orientation. It is quite difficult to find an institution with honesty -including some "Christians"- which is deplorable. I do not know if there is a way to have a list of those schools you can trust to continue an education. Take care and God bless you!
