What would you consider the top accredited DL programs for a master's degree (liberal arts/social sciences, not MBA)?

There are a lot of good programs in this area. A few that come to mind immediately are:

    California State University, Dominguez Hills
    Antioch University
    Excelsior College
    University of Oklahoma
    Vermont College

I concur with John Wetch's selection. I would, however, divide the programs by model based on the amount of structure required (listed here alphabetically) . . .

    HIGHLY STRUCTURED PROGRAMS
(Mostly required or "canned" courses, with some opportunity for student-designed studies):
    --------
California State University at Dominguez Hills (M.A. Humanities)
    Salve Regina University
    SUNY Empire State College
    Thomas Edison State College (M.P.S.)
    University of Oklahoma

    SEMI-STRUCTURED PROGRAMS
(A few core courses, with more room for student-designed studies):
    --------
    Excelsior College
    Skidmore College

    STUDENT-DESIGNED PROGRAMS
(Maximum flexibility in terms of both design and methodology. Also geared more than the others toward social sciences and professional fields.):
    --------
    Antioch University
    Goddard College
    Lesley University
    Prescott College
    Vermont College

How would I rank them? Equally.

[P.S. To those who asked in another thread, Levicoff is alive and well, and shall now return to working on a suntan. Buh-bye.]

Thanks for the great info. You've saved me a lot of time, and probably some blood, sweat and tears to boot!
