I have over 150 semester hours at three different accredited colleges but no degree. Which school would be recommended to get a degree entirely based on work from other colleges? How fast would the process be? and what would be the approximate cost?

Your best bet would be to check with one of the big three colleges. The colleges are Excelsior College (www.excelsior.edu), Thomas Edison State College (www.tesc.edu), or Charter Oak State College (www.cosc.edu).

Otherwise, you will have to meet residency requirements at the school that you are interested in attending. Good luck to you.

if you have the proper credits, you could get in the COSC degree in about 60-90 days.

    COSC

I would strongly suggest you try COSC first. My situation was similar to yours, I had 129 hours all from a single RA institution.

To meet distribution requirements I had to pick up six hours which I did with two CLEPs.

I matriculated in March, graduated July 31, all at a cost of less than $1500.

The good folks at COSC did everything they could do to help me and make it a quick and painless process.

    Good luck and God Bless!

  5. One thing that would be helpful - what degree are you looking to achieve?

I'm finishing up at Excelsior and have been happy with them; COSC and TESC are other options.
