Does anyone have any advice for an online/DL Graduate Certificate in Human Resources?

Cost effevtiveness is important. Not necessarily the cheapest but the best buy............

    Thanks in advance!

Here's one that would allow you to hang a gold medal on your resume and your list of accomplishments!

I'm referring to Cornell University's "E-Cornell". They have an assortment of courses and offer two certificates in "Human Resources Studies" & "Business Leadership Skills for Human Resource Professionals". Neither specify whether or not they are graduate level and with Cornell's name on the certificate it likely wouldn't matter to most folks. However, the latter seems to fit what you're looking for.

I venture to say that regardless of whether or not it's "graduate" work it'd be just as rigorous, if not more so, than graduate level work at your "average" RA college/university.

Lastly, the certificate is not issued by "E-Cornell". The certificate, which oddly enough they actually show a picture of, is issed by Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations so there's no distinction made, but there is certainly PRESTIGE implied.

    Hope this helps.

If you really want "Cost effective" You might also consider doing the HRCP home study program. You don't get college credit or the Cornell name, but it is only $285 and will prepare you for the PHR or SPHR exam, which is highly regarded in the HR field and required by many employers.

look at www.hrcp.com for the study material, and www.hrci.com for the PHR exam.
