    Hey ,

Anybody have any info on Novus University ? They seem legit to me (looking at JD program) they sent info , answered questions on the phone, and grads are able to sit for the Bar in California .Only $3200 including books for entire program but before I send in my $$$$ I want to see if anyone here has had any experience with them.

Check with Bar association - their JD is NOT recognized.

    Internet based mill.

Accredited by the World Association of Universities and Colleges (WAUC)

Is there another legitimate school by the same name?

One of the original incorporators of Novus, in Mississippi, was listed as "T. J. Kirk." That is one of the names used by the gentleman who founded LaSalle University, but of course it could be a different T. J. Kirk

Unless a school is based in California and run from California, graduates cannot sit for the California Baby Bar or main Bar. Are they saying that you can? Their website is: www.ia-edu.org/, which is registered to an address in Slidell, Louisiana.

"Novus" always makes me think of the Ferengi Grand "Nagus".

That would be a good name for a university: Grand Nagus University. Business degrees only.
