Does anyone have any information on this school? They are offering an MBA in military management with credit for Command and Staff College. The prices seem very reasonable. Are they legitimate? or a degree mill? Thanks Larry Neupert
Touro University International is fully accredited (Middle States Association) and a branch campus of a respected institution, Touro College, of New York. Scott
Touro's listing on the Dantes/DoD web site can be found at http://voled.doded.mil/dantes/dl/extdeg.htm . --------------- Bill Gossett Navy (MC) brat
They are indeed accredited and while not necessarily the creme de la creme of MBA programs they have some obvious advantages for you: i) You get an accredited MBA ii) For you (military) it ends up being free tuition iii) Books are electronic and therefore included iv) The program is obviously very portable being on line. That is good for you being in the military. Were I still active duty I would be strongly tempted to take the program were I interested in the business field. Can't beat the cost for an accredited and very flexible program. Do a search here on the forum. There are a couple of student who made comments on the programs. One was so happy that he went on to do his Ph.D. Good luck to you! North
Greetings! I am an active duty soldier who is currently pursuing his MBA through TUI. Feel free to reply to [email protected] if you have specific questions about the program. In a nutshell, I am very pleased. Workload is good; challenge is there; and you can't beat the cost (free for us). Steven King
My experience with Touro University International was excellent. Check previous threads you will find good stuff about this subject. Highly recommended and most importantly accepted among multinationals and in the business world. I can tell you one thing: I noticed tremendous improvement on all levels since their established few years ago. They are fully dedicated to provide the highest educational experience for students.
