I was thinking of going after the TESC BSAST in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I currently have an AAS in Computer information systems. I realize that I would not get credit for the upper level classes for this degree by completing the OCW courses from MIT, but could I use these to portfolio out of these courses? I am not currently enrolled in TESC, but I am pretty adamant about getting some type of engineering degree (preferrably mechanical). I am not concerned about going the easiest route either, I would rather learn all I can about my chosen field of study. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as to how to obtain these credits or other school choices. Traditional methods (B&M) are out of the question due to the amount of travel I do. Also I am not that concerned with obtaining my PE, though it would be nice in the future.

    Thank you,
    Eli Maynard
