    Dear all,

I live in the United Kingdom, and will be moving shortly to Brasil, so my options for finding a distance learning provider suitable for my circumstances appear to be rather slim. I have considered the University of London External Programme, however, I only have 3 A-Levels and no GCSEs, sooo...that option is out, because I really don't wish to study more A-Levels before progressing onto a programme of higher education. Oh, before I forget, I am interested in studying Business Administration, Finance and/or Accounting.

I have come across the Stratford Business School, who offer an HND in Business and Finance, validated by EDEXCEL (the main British examination board, oh, and an HND is equivalent to the first two years of a British degree). I have telephoned EDEXCEL, who confirmned that they are indeed licensed to provide tuition and assessment for the business HND programmes. So, now that I have got their accreditation established, I was wondering if anyone had had experience of them, and if so, would mind sharing their experiences? i.e. the quality of the tuition and study materials, the customer service, etc.

Also, a bit off-topic, and probably unlikely, but does anyone know of any online/distance learning degrees in either Business Administration, Finance or Accounting which require only minimal or no residency, are regionally accreditted/Royal Chartered, and cost less than US$10,000? I haven't found anything cheaper than about US$15,000....so any help on these two matters would be most appreciated!

    Regards,

    The Very Angry Woman.

Did you look at the Heriot-Watt MBA? It covers just about all your requirements. No residency required, Royal Charter. Testing centes all around the world, and you don't need A-levels or whatever they are for the distance learning programme.

Total cost with exam fees and everything is probably around $15,000, but the good thing is you can pay as you go.

    Their website is at www.ebsmba.com

I dont know if you still want to go down HND route since you already have A Levels. I would suggest to take a look at Excelsior and Charter Oak college. Both are RA and would not require you to have A Levels or O levels for admission to their BS programs. The links are.

Why not try Massey University of New Zealand? www.massey.ac.nz. Since you are a British Citizen you pay domestic tuition fees. Which is around NZ $ 530.00 ( its about 206 pounds) per paper and 24 papers needed to complete for Bachelor's.
