    Hello guys,

I'm new to the forum but have a question that I hope someone can help me with.

I have 22 years of experience in corrections. I have no college hours. I am wanting to get at least a BS in Criminal Justice from an accredited school. Can someone help me with information on achieveing this the fastest way using my work/life experience?

    Thanks,

    For starters:

    Thomas Edison

    www.tesc.edu

    Charter Oak

    www.cosc.edu

    Excelsior

    www.excelsior

These are often referred to as "The Big Three" search the forum for more information or better yet visit:

    www.bain4weeks.com

It offers an explanation of how to convert life experience into college credit (among other things) and how the aforementioned three operate.

If you are looking for a legitimate degree, CLEP/DANTES testing is likely to be much faster than PLA which takes quite a bit of work to document. Also realize your experience probably does NOT add up to a degree although it may add up to a good percentage of a degree.
