I need to decide between Humanities, Analyzing & Interprtg.Literature, and American Lit. for CLEP credits. I can do any one of them. Anyone have any thoughts?

    Thanks

I did the Humanities and Analyzing & Interprtg.Literature. The Analyzing & Interprtg.Literature was easier with the study guide from REA.

Thanks so much Randell. Was the REA study guide sufficient study material?

Without a shadow of a doubt, I recommend Analyzing and Interpreting Literature. It's essentially just a reading comprehension test. If you are a native speaker of English who is at all conversant with poetic expression, you shouldn't even need a study guide.

I agree that if you have a choice, take Analyzing and Interpreting Lit. I walked in with 0 study, and walked out with a score in the 70's.

If I remember, there were a few short stories, and one or two poems to read, and then several questions on the tone, theme, etc.

Definately take the Analyzing & Interpreting Literature CLEP. Just like the previous post read it's "just a reading comprehension test," and worth 6 credits.
