What is their standing are they a highly ranked University of good quality because I am thinking of reading for a degree with them.

The University of Malta is listed as a member of the 'Association of Commonwealth Universities.' below is the information listed on their web site. I have no idea whether they are perceived by the international community as being a high flying institution, However, I do know that my own professional organization 'The Ontario College or Teachers' recognizes degrees issued by association of commonwealth university member institutions, and thus by the University of Malta
