The kicks I got each time I read your posts on AED usually kept me amused for at least 10 minutes. Now I can't laugh any more because there are very clowns here. Hi, Ike. We've actually discussed the issue of potentially offensive posters who were present on a.e.d., and under what circumstances we'd boot somebody. The rule as it stands now is that, with the exception of obvious spammers who rarely if ever contributed anything useful, we do not ban anyone who posted on a.e.d., even if some or even a majority of their posts on a.e.d were offensive. We do carefully monitor new registrations and also the posts of any registrant (new or otherwise) who arouses our suspicion, but I am pleased to say that with the exception of the spammers, we have not had to ban anyone, and have only a few times needed to send private emails to encourage better behavior. If the Goldblatt continuum (it's more than one person) appears here, they are welcomed to post, as far as I'm concerned, provided that (a) the posts aren't offensive, and (b) the Goldblatt continuum does not cause problems or otherwise violate our TOS.
