    Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm an ESL teacher in Japan and want to make a switch from ESL to teaching back in the USA. I have an MS Ed from Cal State Hayward in Online Teaching and Learning and 2 professional RIATT Certifications in Assistive Technology. But I have no teaching certifications in the USA.

    I've found that I'm interested in teaching learning disabilities, specifically Visually Disabled. Can someone give me some pointers in finding an online program in this area? Thank you.

    I didn't udnerstand:

    - Are you interested in teaching ESL to blind and visually impaired students (sounds very interesting to me, tell me if such a programme exists for my wife, who is also a teacher);

    - Or, are you interested in teaching ESL to students with learning disabilities? [as far as I know, learning disabilities are things like dyslexia)

    - Or teaching one of these two groups (or both of them) in general, and would like to be certified as a special education teacher?
