Does anyone know anything about Marylhurst University (Oregon) and their online MBA program? How about the school in general?

    Thanks.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I keep getting those database errors when I try and search.

I've taken one online course in research methods and about 10 regular courses from them. The online course was less than spectacular, but I don't think that should reflect on the MBA program. They have a nice campus just south of Portland next to the Sister's of Holy Names Convent.

    Dave,

Thanks for the info. How would you rate the quality of their faculty?

I've never heard of the university before, but it appears that they have been around for quite awhile. Their MBA is reasonably priced, I think it's $305 per credit hour.

Does anyone have information on Marylhurst University now? Their program seems to fit my needs *perfectly*!

    Blekinge Institute of Technology

Blekinge Institute of Technology, in Sweden, offers a 100% online Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. The cost, with the exception of travel to the school to write the final comprehensive examination, is absolutely free.

"Blekinge Institute of Technology is part of the Swedish university system. All academic education at Swedish universities, including this program, is today free of tuition fees. All costs related to the student’s personal expenses, such as course material, travel, Internet costs etc. have to be covered by the student."

The addition of an international educational experience could only enhance your curriculum vitae.

What is it about Marylhurst which suits you perfectly? Perhaps there are other schools which might offer the same things more conveniently, less expensively, etc.

I really like that the program is accelerated; 2 classes per quarter but I would be able to take 4 classes per quarter (after the first quarter) and finish up even sooner. I wouldn't be required to take the GMAT, which I'd rather not take. It's regionally accredited and a brick and mortar school - both important. Is there something else like that that is cheaper with a good reputation?
