Anybody have an opinion on Webster U.? I know they cater to military (there was a campus rep on my AF base), but they also have a nice campus in St. Louis, which is where I went to school, so an online degree from Webster might be a nice complement to my undergrad. Any comments on reputation? Program strengths/weaknesses (MBA)? Campus?

    Scotty,
I took a few business classes from an adjunct that had a masters from Webster, he picked it up while in the military through a base campus. He was an under graduate of the Citadel ( S.C.), and I must say it helped him, he eventually obtained the rank of Major, retired, and now runs a local chamber of commerce! Hope this helps.
    Good luck,
    Gavin

I am enrolled in the Webster MBA program and am currently almost halfway through my first online course. So far, I am really enjoying the experience.
One thing to keep in mind is that it is not AACSB accredited (although the local satellite campus director told me they are working towards that), so if AAACSB accred. is high on your list, you might want to keep looking.
Something I thought was cool is that they offer semester abroad programs at one of their international campuses. I you are looking for an excuse to spend a couple of months in say, Geneva, or London, or Vienna, what better excuse than school?
If you have any specific questions about the program, I would be glad to try to answer them.

    Tony

Edit: Of course if one is already living in Europe, the study abroad program might not be as important. LOL

My brother has two degrees from Webster. Both have been very helpful in his promotional opportunites. He liked the program.

I took four courses from Webster to finish my MBA from National. Years later, I taught Statistics in their MBA program. I liked their understanding of adult students.

They never did explain their demand to be removed from Bears' Guide, under penalty of bringing suit. I ignored their demand, kept them in the book (with the positive write-up they deserve), they never sued, and life goes on.
