Master's Degree program Acceptance

I wanted to share with all of you wonderful and helpful indivduals here on "degreeinfo.com", regarding the wonderful news that I have received this week.

First a letter/email from Excelsior College regading the status of my application for the graduate program:
I am pleased to inform you that you have been approved for admission to the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program at Excelsior College. Congratulations! We're sure that you'll find our program personally, intellectually, and professionally rewarding. ..... The graduate courses you are taking or plan to take seem to be appropriate for transfer given your interests and the nature of our program. .... Final and official confirmation of your transfer credits occurs with approval of your Degree Completion Plan in which you will explain the connections between your Tier II courses and your thesis topic. ..... On behalf of our Director, (name removed), and all of the members of our faculty and staff, welcome to the MLS program. We look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

I have decided to pursue the intertwining topics of Climatology and Geology as an interdiscplinary concentration. I am the first graduate student in this program to have a "science" based concentration.

I recieved this news the day after my wife and I's first child came into this world....a little girl.

 

Congratulations all around! Please accept my best for the health of both mother and child. Good luck in your studies.
