Does anyone knows the status of Touro University International in regards to their accreditation and overall. I have searched for info but I am getting mixed information here. Some even mention Touro U is up for sale. Does the members of this board recommend their BS and MS degree programs and the university ?

I do not know about the accreditation issues that TUI faced but I know they are still accreditied. The MS program was a good program. I liked the fact that there was not a charge for books, but I did not like that fact that there were not any books to follow along or keep as a referance.

The customer service was "OK". There were times that they did not call me back or respond to an email for 3-4 days.

TUI is fully accredited by the Middle States today and will witness an accreditation transfer toward the end of this year by WASC.

It is an excellent school with large number of experienced and resident faculty.

My overall experience with TUI was excellent. The response of both Admin. and faculty was less then 24 hours. I use to receive correspondences from faculty even on weekends.

The utility of their degree was quite beneficial in the Multinational I work for.

    Highly recommended.

In addition to TUI's Regional Accreditation, it’s Business program is also IACBE accredited. IACBE is a Specialized Accrediting Body for Business & Business-Related Degree Programs at the Baccalaureate and Graduate Degree Levels in Colleges and Universities. IACBE measures the effectiveness of Business Education through Outcomes Assessment. (http://www.iacbe.org/)
