If money is no object, experience is abundant, and GMAT is in the 650 to 800 range, what are the top twenty schools that offer COMPLETELY ONLINE MBAs? Duke? Purdue? Indiana? Penn St.? Remember, it must be completely online, as I live overseas. Thanks

Define completely online. You've mentioned both Purdue and Duke, which I believe require residencies. If you're talking about degrees where you don't ever have to leave your computer Duke would not qualify.

Arizona State, Indiana and Thunderbird all have (very) good reputations, but you would have to check them for residency requirements. Warwick is one of my favourites, but I'm 99% sure that they have required residencies.

Edit: UMass also looks like a good program, with no required residencies as far as I recall.

    "completely" online...

I live overseas, so it must be a program that can be completed with no residency requirement. I was aware that the Duke program had a residency, so I shouldn't have included that, but I wanted to make sure everybody knew I was wanting to know about the very best, not the best between DeVry, UoP or AIU.

Also, I am wanting AACSB accredited only.

    Colorado State University
    Golden Gate University
    Herrot-Watt- EBS
    Indiana Wesleyan University
    Lehigh University
    Mississippi State University
    Oklahoma State University
    Regis University
    Salve Regina University
    Seton Hall University
    University of Illinois

Nova Southeastern has a well respected DL MBA program http://www.huizenga.nova.edu/programs/masters_mba_online_curriculumOrder.cfm

If you live in Europe check out the Open University MBA http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/P12.dll?S01

There is also the Cal State University Dominguez Hills MBA.

I do not know if any are AACSB accredited.

    Another added benefit:

"Applicants holding a graduate degree from an accredited college or university are not required to take the GMAT."

    and

"For the tenth year in a row, Marist College was ranked in the top tier of colleges and universities in the northern United States in the latest edition of the annual U.S. News & World Report “America’s Best Colleges” guide. "

    Thanks...

Hey BinkWile, thanks for opening a new subject within my thread. Now I'm getting email notifications whenever someone answers a question I didn't ask. Next time, open a new thread. No offense, but your question has already been asked and answered elsewhere in this forum.

    Hi Binkwile

It is a great question and don't worry about asking it here. No one "owns" this thread and all threads take a life of their own. If someone doesn't like it, tough for them. I would suggest searching the archive as it has been discussed. Ashworth may be the cheapest, but for me it is more vocational school than college. I would look at CSUDH as one the cheaper ones. Good luck!

This has been discussed before of course, but then again so have most things.

Here's a completely incomplete list, just some of the ones that spring to mind:

    Bellevue University
    Baker College
    University of North Alabama
    California State University Dominguez Hills
St Joseph's College (recently mentioned and a great find)
    Texas A&M - Commerce
    Morehead State

All under $15k and a couple are AACSB.

Please note: Definitely an incomplete list.

The least expensive I think are UNA and CSH DH.

    Dave...

Why should it be "tough" for me instead of "tough" for him. I never said it was a bad question. Neither did I say I own the forum. I think it is a good question, but it should be asked in its own thread. It is just like interrupting someones conversation and taking it off subject. If your child interrupts people, do you encourage that? I was always told that interrupting was bad. What if I went into one of your threads and asked a completely different question and you started getting emails about responses to my question instead of yours? I'm not angry, just annoyed. It weakens my ability to get good answers. I don't want to know the cheapest, I want to know the best. I apologize if I came off short or rude to you or BinkWile, but your logic in this instance is weak, especially when you go on to answer his question but not mine. Perhaps I should just go re-ask my question in a new thread and clog up the forum, what do you think? That kind of logic is what separates the students that make it into Keenan-Flagler, Sloan, etc and those that go to UoP.

Now, I suppose I shall wait for the mods to suspend my account for voicing an opinion that hurts the "friendliness" of this site...

    Again Binkwile

Don't worry about Scotty. At some point he'll need to deal with his hostility, but we can just ignore it.

    Scotty,

Are you absolutely focused on US MBA programs, or would you look at the UK? Henley, Warwick and Imperial College jump to mind as being highly rated. I'm sure Warwick has residency requirements, I don't think Imperial College does. Just don't remember about Henley.

Note: The Imperial College degree might just say University of London on it, that may or may not fit with your needs.

    Something worth trying

No offence, but have you ever tried turning the email notification off?? This is a discussion forum you know...

    Hi,

Imperial College doesn't have any resideny requirements. But be minded of their vitrual tutorials, where students from different timezone would be attending altogether (but it's not compulsory, do it for your own good).

Also, currently Imperial College is not granting any degree. All degrees are thus granted by The Univeristy of London. But it would mention the lead college of the programme.

I think someone on the forum had shown the certificate before. It's written clearly which is the lead college. This practice applies to all FT, PT, or DL students in IC.

We have classmates in every continents (except Anarctica :D) . You won't feel isolated.

As for Henley, as far as I remember, they don't have residency requirement.

    MBAs overseas...

    Novemberdude,

Yeah, I'm looking at overseas options, too. The Henley looks really good. INSEAD is nice, too, and I would be willing to spend 10 months in France to get it. IMD is an option, although I can't remember residency requirements. I live in Europe, so I could spend a week here or there for the top programs, but spending a weekend every semester in Ohio, for example, is out of the question. I think I will have to open my options, though, to include schools with short residencies as very few of the schools without residencies satisfy me reputation-wise. I want top 30 US, top 50 worldwide. Thanks.
