Anything new in terms of a DSocSci degree by research from a DL school? Or would anyone know of a school that might be convinced to add such a program? I prefer foreign institutions. I check Warnborough and sent them several emails but decided against them since I read here that they might not be on a level.
I have five more months before completing my Masters in Legal Studies: Law & Public Policy with CUP by Distance and that program is vigorous but well worth it. Dr. Nemeth is the BEST!

    Lady Executive,

That legal studies program caught my eye, since I work in the area of taxation. If you could elaborate on that program, that would be great.

I would be interested in the course requirements and types of assignments, the time commitment and level of and methods of interactions with professors and fellow students.

Good luck in furthering your education.

The degree is called: Masters in Legal Studies: Law & Public Policy. I have decided to go for the one year completion date or you may prefer to go at a slower pace. The program is aggressive, the students are sharp, the professors are keen and experienced. The adviser is the best in the world. Dr. Nemeth will work anything out. He knows his stuff, he is very good with students and best of all, he responds to every email quickly.

You may visit www.CUP.edu for more information.

Some of the programs are: Law and Ethics, Law & The International Community, Law & The Constitution and things of that nature. Exams are like what you would have taken in college except these are not multiple choice, these are written in essay form.

A student has to participate in discussion groups, which has been fun.

This program has given me a new found respect for Distance Education Learning. I think it is more strict than a BM program to be honest but I have to thank whomever it was that recommended the program to me because, I am learning quite a bit and when I am done the quality of my degree will be in comparison to any school in the United States... and I stand by that.
