I just graduated recently from Education Direct with an Associate in Specialized Business with a major in Business Management. I was wondering if it would be appropriate to list this down on a resume? Some have mentioned that if the degree is nationally accredited, then this would be sufficient. If you do get RA degrees, is it ok to list a nationally and regionally accredited degree?

Has anyone here also completed an Associate in Specialized Business degree with Education Direct? Did you list it on your resume?

    Hello Fritz

I think it will all depend on the job you are applying for.

I do not know what other degrees you got, nor I am aware of the fields of concentration, but if one of your previous degrees is within another major other than business and the job you are applying for requires a certain percentage of administration/businees skills so, I believe it is worth including it in your resume.

In the event, you do not have any other degree, I also believe you should include it.

I wouldn't include it, if for example, you have a Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering (or any other not business related specialization) and you are applying for an opening where only pure mechanical engineering knowledge is required.

As long you are always honest in your inclusions, you may customize your resume in order to get a first interview, by including the degrees you consider most appropriate.
