I am afraid to lose the hope to complet my studies and make my dreams real.I need a BA degree soon soon soon.

I'v stated befor that I aim to gain postgraduate studies in translation between Arabi and English.my strategy now is to evaluate my diplomas at some university to gain the BA degree first. It has to be in English or a major which is relevant to translation "no BA in translation is available by DL".and also it has to be acceptable by Unisa,Herior Watt,Free state or /and London Insitute of Linguistics .
I have not found the suitable university yet. When I found the convenient fees , convenient majors and fast degree, the university was unacredited and when the university was acredited, the fees ,majors ,duration of studying,or all were not convenient.

London university is great but it is expensive for me and the minimum duration of BA in English is 3 years.I was to be fooled by Bircham International but I thank God first then this forum members.Exelsior,TESC and Cosc are strongly recommended here but my problem is getting credits by exams which I think must be done at centers not online.I referred to there websites and to BA in 4 weeks but I am still confused.I have not understood them well yet .
Now the American university of London "not in London" opened a center in my town. All my needs are offered by this university except acreditation "their majors in language do not include many literature units and this is an advantege for me ".I read the former threads about it but I did not find a clear statement that it is invalid and I still need advice about it."many threads are written in informal English while English is not my native lang ' I wonder if the universities mentioned above will accept me to PG degrees with a BA from this university".What do helpful members think of it?
If someone can advice me please do, in the other hand, tell me more please about how close is Excelsior to my desires.
I also would like to know about members who have had the same story and then solved their problems.

If you are planning to get a degree at any of the American, English or Australian universities, I would suggest first to get prepared and pass at least the TOEFL exam (Test of English as a Foreign Language).

You can earn a B.A. in English from Excelsior College through testing (CLEP, DANTES etc.) and distance learning courses. There are countless online and correspondence courses that can be taken from about anywhere in the world. And I don't believe--but I'm not certain--Excelsior requires the toefl exam for admission.

Yes. But are the exams available online, or does a candidate have to travel to a testing centre or endure the horrors of proctored exams?
