Read where St Regis uNOversity, is affiliated with Kalinga University in India.
    Is Kalinga a real university?

No. Apparently Chhatisgarh is something of a haven for dubious schools. There is material about Kalinga in an earlier thread. Use "Kalinga" as your search term and it should turn up quickly. (I don't know how to post a thread link.)

    Amazing.

I am witnessing history in the making. The ability that the ST REGIS GROUP has to metamorph is incredible (unless there is another case that I am not aware about).
In my short time of reading and understanding distance learning I think this is a case for study. No scrupuls what so ever. Disregard for academia. Probable disregard for legal actions?
Does anyone know of another effort to legalize a Degree Mill?

To me this is historic, how far a group will go to play with fire.

Here's something interesting. It appears to be a current court calendar from Chhattisgarh India, showing a whole bunch of cases pitting various unknown "universities" vs. the state of Chhattisgarh. Among the various school names is "Kalinga University".

I don't know how they do things in India, but I'd guess that cases are listed petitioner first and respondent second. So these seem to be a bunch of "universities" simultaneously suing the state.

That in turn suggests that they all want relief from some action that the state is taking.

In India $100 worth of bribe can buy you anything in the government. Its a top-down democracy.
