Bachelor's in Criminal Justice

Today, I met a newly hired juvenile probation officer who recently received her Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, completely online, from the Florida Gulf Coast University. It is a part of Florida's state university system and all she had to do was transfer her AA degree from a community college in order to be accepted into the program. She said that the curriculum was comprised primarily of writing papers.

I was surprised to learn that she never set foot in a classroom at the university.
