    Hey Everybody,

I'm looking to earn my B.A. in Liberal Studies through TESC. I've already became an enrolled student and found that most of the courses I have already taken applied to the major (because of anything above the "100" level being considered upper-level).

    My Credits are as follows:

84 credits through regionally accredited schools and my A.A. Business Degree.

6 credits CLEP - English Composition with Essay.

14 credits through FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency)

I do need three more credits in the Humanities besides this (I'm thinking about taking the Analyzing and Interpreting Literature CLEP). Considering I pass that test, I will have 110 credits.... should I simply finish the degree off with more FEMA courses or are there any other suggestions?

Simply getting the degree will work wonders... afterwards, I am planning on entering WGU (Western Governor's University) for teacher certification... through either the Post-Bac program or the MAT.

Let me know of other options.... or if the FEMA route might be best.

  2. Definitely do Analyzing and Interpreting Literature...pretty easy 6 credits.

If you need other credit, the following are good to take:

    - Here's To Your Health (DANTES)
    - Humanities (CLEP)
    - Drug and Alcohol Abuse (DANTES)
    - Astronomy (DANTES)
    - Criminal Justice (DANTES)
    - Intro to Law Enforcement (DANTES)

Each of these would take minimal study time if you already have some knowledge and an interest.

    Cheers,
    Mark

Does TESC count 200-level courses as upper level? I know that Charter Oak's website lists exams as being Basic, Intermediate and Upper level, with intermediate corresponding to 200-level. Might be worth a look.
