Does anyone know anything about Northcentral University, 505 W. Whipple St, Prescott, AZ 86301(ncu.edu). I have looked it up on both The Higher Learning Commission web site and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation web site and it is listed as accredited on both. However, it is not listed in Bear’s Guild and I can find no mention of it Petersons guild either? While I realize they don’t list every school in the nation I thought it odd. That is why I decided to throw it out here and see what other may know.
Real. Legitimate. Accredited. Are you sure it's not listed in Bears' Guide? I find it on pg. 211 (in the "Other" schools category; NCU has since become accredited).
you can also do a search on this forum. New students to NCU will have limited advantages over other more long standing institutions and programs. The lack of a required residency being the most appealing. NCU is moving towards a more mainstream approach as they comply with federal requirements.
