    Subject : Cameroon as well?

    | | | Inbox

    Dear Mr. Tato – Sio:

Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Jack Benlisha Madrigal. I
am the President and Founder of Vanguard University of Science and
Technology. I noticed your comments on the all Africa forums
about “one is starting up in Cameroon”. I am taking the liberty of
supposing you are referring to us?

Let me assure you that we are nothing like other schools that try to
operate using less than wonderful tactics.

We actually have a very African component in Cameroon and I am a
descendent of an African father (morocco). My partner and co-
founder, Feh Henry Baaboh, is as Cameroonian as can be. He is there
full time and is in charge of anything related to the Cameroonian
aspect of the University. I am not ashamed that we have Cameroonian
roots, hell I am proud to promote Africa. I hoped to be buried in
Africa (morocco) just like my father and my brother are.

Our University does not offer a “pay it and obtain it education”; so
I fail to see why you reference us in the same breath as the others.

If you notice on our website (www.vanguard-university.info) you will
see my name, telephone number, and address. I am not hiding from
anyone and I don’t have the name of employees, it my name and the
names of those of us who are involved in the creation of the
University. One of the co-founders, Feh Henry Baaboh is a well
respected lawyer in Cameroon and I can assure you he is not in dire
financial needs as to ruin his reputation as co-owner of a Degree
    Mill.

In the end, I invite you to watch our progress over the next coming
years. We have no intentions of being anything but 100% legitimate.
I feel sorry for those that feel that neither Central America nor
Africa is capable of running a world class distance education
program that can be an alternative to U.S. education schools.

    Give us time and watch.

    Respectfully submitted,

    Jack Benlisha Madrigal

    Jack Benlisha UNINVITED RESPONSE:

It is premature to for you or your colleagues to classify the one in Cameroon, if you are refering to Vanguard University of Science and Technology.

    Hi Bob:
There's a big recent thread elsewhere on this board about Vanguard. (Sorry I dunno how to post intra-board links.) All sorts of crap flying through cyberspace from Pameroon to Canama, with connecting flights to Costa Rica. But you go right ahead and question Jack the Sephardi aristocrat. Lemme know when he calls you racist!
    Your pal,
    Janko Preotul
