For Physics, Chem, Bio... do they require lab coursework that cannot be satisfied with ECE or other exams? I have AP Biology credit and would take the GRE subject and other exams.
if you want a degree in bio, then you have to have labwork you can go to excelsior's site, get a userr name and then view the bio degree requirements but if you're doing a general degree, a psych degree or busness degree, then you don't need the lab. you can just use the AP credits to fulfill the general science requirements
I have a username and looked at the Liberal Arts viewbook to see requirements. I don't see anything about labwork/biology mentioned. Also if you look at all the undergrad courses, there is only BIO 100, so what courses would even be possible? Are there Excelsior DL classes to fill the bio labwork requirement? At COSU or TESC would it be easier/quicker to get a degree in Bio? Thanks for your help.
if you go to http://www.excelsior.edu then Excelsior College Publications Request then Guidelines for the Major in Biology you will see that two labs are needed, one upper-level but you can request a waiver for work or other experience try excelsior's DistanceLearn(R) database to find courses with labs be creative look for oceanography, marine science, biochemistry, anatomy, biology, zoology I don't know about the requirements at thomas edision or COSC
try this http://sln.suny.edu/sln/public/slncatalog.nsf/42578b4d3f17dc2685256e3e00597793/e650f24496d6483d85256e510064bec5?OpenDocument http://sln.suny.edu/ then from the drop down menu course list then Fall 2004 list for courses then Sort By: Discipline then Anatomy then (BIOL203-701) Anatomy and Physiology I (09/01/2004-12/15/2004): Susan Gilmore (Cayuga County Community College)
I don't see "Guidelines for the Major in Biology", maybe because I am not a student yet? I have a free login and password. Thanks.
