    Hello All,

I am planning on doing a BS in information systems at Excelsior. I have an FLMI from LOMA (Life Office Management Association) and was told by someone from Excelsior that I may be given credits for this.

I would like to do as much CLEP and DSST before registering. The thing is this I dont know what I will be offered credit for and I dont want to do exams that I will be credited for.

What do u guys suggest? Do anyone know the credits offered for LOMA?

  2. Not being familiar with LOMA, I can only suggest that you look at core requirements that you can test out of that may not be covered. Or, take a few CLEP general exams such as Humanities, Social Science/History, Natural Science that may have no overlap with LOMA but will give you a great head start towards meeting your general education requirements as well as exposure to CLEP.

    Cheers,
    Mark
