Seven more months to my Masters degree and I still haven't located a Doctorate Program of interest. I am almost at a point where I'd apply for entry into any program. My heart and soul and goals are all tied to my obtaining a Doctorate degree in Social Science, by distance and through research. I would love to find a program that would not take me into my senior year to complete. Alternative programs would be: Social Justice, Public Policy and programs of that nature. I am still interested in offshore programs, British, Aussie, Netherlands. Depending on my options I would consider Africa as well, only it takes a decade to get one question answered from UNISA and here again, I do not want to have to walk with a cane to accept my diploma. One last tidbit, I am not willing to fly out of the US to get a degree. Nah, hate the friendly skies.

    Thanks....

Sorry, but I haven't got any good program tips. The best I can do is offer this worldwide universities portal link. It's tedious working your way through all the countries but it still may be better than watching television. :D

Would any of the good education programs offered via distance fit the bill? There are some very fine schools ioffering minimal-residency EdDs and PhDs in educational leadership which might be directed towards some specialty that's reminiscent of social sciences, justice or public policy. What is your Masters going to be in?
