I have just been sued by a recent graduate of AMRI who claims to have a degree in biomechanics and his doctoral degree from AMRI with the help of a Dr. Egbert Phipps. I wrote a research proposal and included a guy on a project who said he had all kinds of credentials. He was believable at the time, half way through the project, it was clear he was not who he claimed to be. The lawsuit is related to his name not being included in a presentation at a conference. I will spare you the details. The story is just too unbelievable. Anyway, I was flimflammed by this Phipps graduate. Can anyone give me the recent low down on Dr. Phipps? I assume Dr. Phipps is running a degree mill. He answers the phone himself with a simple "hello" all 3 times that I dialed the number. Any info I can receive will hopefully blow this guy away in court. Thanks
Mmm, an interesting entity. A Google search comes to this page in which the recommended link leads one to Weston Reserve University The claims of Kuwait Royal Academic Charter sound interesting, but worthy of further investigation. Two URLs are provided - HTTP://ALTMEDRESEARCH.ORG and http://westonreserve.org Dr Phipps contact details are at http://westonreserve.org/contact.htm PS - Interesting to note that none of the pages can be printed, saved or the URLs copied. Cheers, George
SRU guy on the faculty The faculty roster lists "George Reiff." Reiff can also be found here as a Saint Regis professor. Kenneth Harrison is on the Weston faculty, as well as the Breyer State faculty. Take a look at this thread for more info. G
If you do a search on Google.com or Teoma.com you'll get a few hits that could be helpful. BTW, some of those hits come from degreeinfo and you can find them by doing the same "Egbet Phipps" search here. Good luck, Jack
Scary looking group at Weston. Thanks for all of the info. These are scary looking people on the Weston faculty. They belong in a James Bond film. From what I understand, St. Regis is a degree mill also? This is some serious fraud. It seems only someone like George Costanza (Seinfeld) would consider matriculating from one of these places.
Hi Dr C. Welcome aboard. Yes, St Regis is one of those things. It was discussed in endless detail here several months ago, complete with interchangeable human heads and all sorts of fun stuff. Toward the upper right corner there is a "search" button (white-on-gray, it's a lttle bit hard to see if you are an old fart such as meself). Do a search on St Regis / Saint Regis and you will find simply a staggering amount of information. Check out the switched heads stuff--say, can somebody post the link to the pictures fer this feller? I am sorry you are being sued by an idiot and wish you well.
some links concerning pigeons and faculty heads See Saint Regis faculty have detachable heads??? and Branford Academy Preparatory High School for example. G
