    Hello All!

I briefly wandered the web to no avail, and was hoping that someone here could point me in the right direction.

I have a friend who completed two graduate level courses via DL at Charles Sturt University in Australia.

My friend is now applying to a US B&M doctoral program. As part of the application process, they desire to know all the college coursework she has completed (institution and credits earned).

I am uncertain has to how many credit hours two graduate level courses equate.

Looking at the CSU website, I believe it mentions that for each DL course, 10 hours of study per week over the 18 week term is expected. It also states that no more than two courses be enrolled in per term.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanx!

I don't know about Charles Sturt, but I got my transcript from University of Southern Queensland (Australian too) evaluated by a Local University and each unit taken at USQ was given 4 credits for Canadian/American standards. I assume it would be similar for CSU.

Everything in Australia is upside down because they are hanging from the underside of the planet.

So 2 U.S. credits is equivalent to 1/2 credits in Australia, 3 U.S. credits is 1/3 Australian credits, etc.

All this is easy for someone as smart as I am, but others have difficulties with the conversions.
