Does anyone know of any good study guides for the American Literature CLEP?

Has anyone taken the exam and passed? I was trying to find teh military passing rate but the website is not working.

I did that one last week, in concert with the English literature one. I passed American with a 59, English with a 60.

I consider myself fairly well-read. All I used for study was a quick-study laminated guide with names of american authors, literature period and most well-known pieces of literature. I paid particular attention to the women and minority writers.

Also, I went on sparknotes, and read the synopsis of (almost) every English language book, as well as the important quotations. Also, all the shakespeare plays and quotations.

Unfortunately my scores weren't high enough for As at Excelsior (I think 67 and 64 are the A scores), but I was happy.
