In a presentation ceremony held on May 23, 2001, the CSUDH Graduate Studies Office announced this year's winners of the all-campus thesis/project of the year competition. Thesis of the Year winner was Humanities External M.A. Degree student Kristin Weber for "A Jungian Study of Violence and Grace in the Fiction of Flannery O'Connor." Best Creative Project of the Year was awarded to HUX student Wayne Ingalls for "Bosworth, 1485: A Tactical-Level Simulation of the Battle of Bosworth." One of three runner-up positions was awarded to HUX student Kris Acquistapace for her thesis "Discovering the Art of Dora Carrington."

We congratulate the accomplishments of our graduates and look forward to next year's competition.
