I was just accepted to ASU's Corporate online MBA program. Seems to be a great program (highly rated, AACSB, etc.) and I'm really looking forward to participating.

Anyone already enrolled in the program? I'd like to make sure I know what I'm getting myself into! Any feedback on the program would be appreciated (i.e., program format, etc.). So far, I've only heard and read good things.

I was at ASU for three years (albeit in a different program). I heard nothing but positive feedback about their DL programs in business and engineering.

Best of luck. Although I'm not going to ASU for a MBA I'm sure that you'll find the online experience enjoyable. I am enjoying my online experience immeasurably. Although I've only completed one course at Capella, it was much more work than I thought it would be, about 15 hours per week.

I did a quick comparison between ASU and the school that I'm attending, Capella. ASU's admission requirements are higher, the costs are considerably more, but it seems that ASU uses a very similar delivery format. Is the additional cost due to the AACSB accreditation? My program at Capella, Organization and Management, consists of twelve 12-week courses.

From the description of both programs it seems they require extensive reading from the text(s) and various articles from publications such as the Harvard Business Review. Most of the classes I will be taking will require projects instead of online testing. I do find it hard to believe that one can get very much out if a 6-week course, perhaps it is very intense. I guess they've resorted to testing since a 6-week course would not allow time to formulate and complete a project.

It will be interesting to hear your thoughts after you complete your first course.

Thanks so much for the replies! Anyone else with insight into the ASU program?

I don't have direct experience, but know 2 people who did the program. It has a very high reputation, and one is a VP in industry, the other went onto doctoratae work and is a full time professor at an AACSB school.

    You should be very proud!!!!!!!!!
