Hello again, all. I am still looking for the right program to work on a BA in Spanish, and would like to hear your experiences/opinions about some of my top candidates....

    1) University of South Africa (UNISA)
    2) Caldwell College

These first 2 offer actual Spanish degrees, and the following have more general degrees that can be tailored into Spanish programs...

    3) Excelsior College
    4) Thomas Edison State College
    5) The Union Institute

If any of you can give me some info on these schools, or know of any others that might suit my needs, please let me know!

To fill you in a little on my background, I'm in the military, already have a BA in Music Business (some switch, huh?), and am looking to eventually get a teacher certification for Spanish. If there is a program to kill both birds with one stone (both the Spanish and teacher cert.) it would be best. But it seems that I'm going to have more luck doing them separately. I have about 10 years before I retire, so I've got some time to work with...

    Thanks for any info!

If you mean Caldwell College in Caldwell, New Jersey, it is a four-year Catholic College in Northern New Jersey. It is regionally accredited and it has very good reputation. It is only about 2 miles from my house. The college was established in 1939.

Unisa meets GAAP criteria, is a reputable school, and is over 130 years old.
