I've noted that many of you are interested in business degrees of one sort or another and while they're not of any special interest of mine I thought I'd mention one I ran into today while surfing through an Australian university website. I'm talking about an external DBA program at the University of Sunshine Coast http://usc.edu.au I don't know if it's a good or bad program or even if it's a good or bad school but I will offer my opinion that this school has a terrible name (it sounds like a summer camp or a school where you can major in tanning). My book budget didn't allow me to pick up the 14th edition of Bears Guide so I don't know if this is old news. I hadn't ever heard it mentioned so I thought I'd throw it out there for anyone who might be interested. Ciao for now, Jack
Those with very long memories might recall that I posted, maybe two years ago to AED, a summary of Australian external DBA programs, including costs. I think, at the time, only three universities offered such a course: Southern Cross and Charles Sturt, and I think the other one was Curtin or maybe Macquarie. Sunshine Coast is a new institution and, yes, it is a Barry Crocker of a name. It is time I had another look at Australian distance DBA's. I will post the results of my research shortly.
