Does anyone have experience with any of the BIG 3 accepting DETC credits or State-Approved? Also, which one if any? Which of the 3 has the best cost?

Only if the course has been ACE evaluated. If you aren't familiar with Randell1234's degree path be sure to search for it. He was able to attain a COSC degree quickly after attending CCU.

Thanks Dave.. I do recall Randell1234 and I am in the same academic boat with a B.S in management completed at CCU and currently enrolled in the CCU MBA program as well. Of course, I am awaiting news in jan. as many before submitting final coursework.

Hopefully Randell1234 can respond and let me know the best approach and what has worked for him. I am not fond of TESC due to their tuition structure. Was enrolled with them and fought to get tuition back and did BS/MBA with CCU after they announced to seek DETC. Looked at it as a Stock investment. A gamble maybe, but could have a good ROI in the long run.

Wow. Not the kind of gambling I would ever do. To me education is the foundation of each person's future. Seeing Randell have to earn two Bachelor's and two Master's should be a sobering thought for any one considering an unaccredited school. Each to there own I guess. :)

I'll give you that... however, I will wait until after January to reply. I, unfortunately, did not find or locate DegreeInfo. or understood the " accreditation process " like many others. Good thing is.. I havent had to take a student loan out and I am pretty pleased with the education I received thus far through them.

Either way...I am again seeking not criticism for what I feel is a good school, but OPTIONS should I want to seek a RA BS.

I did complete two BS's and two masters degrees. If you are set on a CCU degree than I would complete the CCU course and immediately take the appropriate CLEP or DANTES and complete an RA undergrad degree. COSC worked very well with me.

I would go into greater detail but I just got power back after 27 hours from hurricane Frances.

randell1234, I am glad to hear you are OK from the Hurricane. Thank you for replying. I will look into COSC as well. Are Exclesior and COSC similar in cost etc?

    Hi JN

I think I understand. At the same time, the irony of someone who is looking at replacing an unaccredited degree they believe is a good choice is important info for those not yet enrolled in an unaccredited school. I apologize if my post comes accrossed as overly critical. Take care and I hope thing s work out perfectly for you.

Dave Hayden - I've been waiting for this for months...

Dave, You are right on the gambling. Not a wise choice for many to most. I also have been awaiting to reply back to this comment as some posters just do not tend to forget.

Good news is...Yes, it paid off and I will have a DETC accredited MBA upon my final completion shortly and with a pre-DETC tuition cost. I am most thankful.

    Just had to share.

Children...Do not try this at home. ( Gambling that is ). Leave it to those who can take the risk. :D
