Well, I finally received my enrollment package from Excelsior College and immediately began having discussions with an academic advisor (not to be confused with admissions counselor)*sarcasm. And, now realize that customer service is, perhaps, more important than I once thought. Although, I am happy with my choice to enroll in EC as they more closely match my academic situation and objectives, I have experienced the customer service blues. I can't help but think all of the academic advisors have been Mirandized by management..."You have the right to remain silent, any academic advice you give can and will be used against you..." AND when you call them it's as if you've reached them on a pay phone while they were standing on a subway platform and they've just spotted the train...."ok, is that it? I gotta go! Bye!"

I'm sure they have a zillion students asking them the same thing, a zillion times a day. Since I pretty much know what I need and already have 90 semester hours, this is not that big of a deal *knock on wood*. I was just wondering if others have experienced the same thing.
