I'm sure if you pass by the paper racks at your local grocer or convenience store than you've likely seen all those job publications. More Specifically, I'm sure you've seen Job News USA. Job News advertises quite extensively here in the Cincinnati area.

Anyway, I picked up up the other day and under the "Career Education" section there's this generic graduation with a big headliner that reads: "Finish High School at home in less than 6 months!"

    The rest:

    First Coast Academy

    800-658-1180 Dept. C08/04JN
I'm assuming with the "Department" number it's an anwersing/secretary service of some kind.

    Web: http://www.fcahighschool.org

The website is vague and doesn't offer much detail. Here's three things I noted on the website:

    1. "First Coast Academy is a non-public high school, ( school number 160078) meeting all state requirements, and duly listed with the Florida Department of Education, located in Tallahassee, Florida"

    2. They are apparently related/connected to "Atlantic International Institute" (which you can link to on the homepage) It looks quite familar to Atlantic International University (www.aiu.edu)

    3. They're touting the "we're not yet accredited, but soon will be" hoopla.

Lastly, they post a picture of the diploma and it looks cheap. Oh, and one more thing, on the homepage you'll see a happy graduate. You may notice that guy if you've ever had your film developed at Wal-Mart (it was on Wal-Mart's photo package) and from the human head on a piegon's body someone posted in an old Saint Regis thread (I believe). The strange thing is: That guy looks almost exactly like me.

    Thoughts? Comments?

Wow... looks like I need a cup of coffee or something.

To correct my butchering: I intended to spell ANSWERING not whatever that mess was that I typed the first time.
