Okay, I need a school that I can bring up my GPA this semester. However, most of the regional schools in my state I looked at have already started there fall semester, thus, making it too late for me to attend this semester. However, I really need to attend this fall semester or I will lose my Scholarship :( :(

I need a distance learning college that I can enroll in and start soon.
I need a distance learning college that offer financial assistance if needed.

I need one that will expect all my CLEP exams and Dantes.

The degree program does not matter!

I already have a degree in psychology my aim is to get into graduate school. But the school of my choice needs me to bring up my GPA. Thus, once I do this I can enter there program. So, please someone answer my post:( :(

    Mountain State University IS courses

Mountain State University in West Virginia has about 200 to 300 independent study classes that you can start at any time, and have up to 16 weeks from the start date to finish each course.

I am currently taking 18 hours there of which 6 are IS and the rest are online courses.

As for the CLEP and DANTES exams my advisor told me that they would accept whatever I already had and I could take whatever I needed .

They also accept all types of financial aid.

Hope this helps you out and good luck in finding what you need.

I am taking courses at MSU this semester also, all independent study. This is my first semester there, but all looks straight forward so far. MSU may be the way to go for you.

    I called

I am so happy I post on this site. I called the school and got great information. I was told that all I need to do was out a apply online and send in a money order for application fee. The even offered financial aid, which I need as back up for any extra expense my scholarship might not covered. I was also told that I could enroll as non-degree seeking student and still get financial assistance as long as I did not take less then 6 hours. So far, everything looks good:D

I'm finishing up 12 hours at MSU as myself. They have been very helpful.

There is a small problem with coordination between departments but nothing big at all. After you do your application and pay your fee you might have to press a bit to get the ball rolling with them. It's really no big deal at all, just don't wait for them to do it.

I have had a very good experience with them so far.
