It depends on how much credit you already have, but I was able to finish my BS in Business Administration at the University of Wyoming for roughly $7K - spread out over the 4 years it took me, that's $1750/year. I earned 71 hours through a combination of web-based classes, correspondence classes, and CLEP/DSST exams. Others have reported similar numbers with Excelsior, COSC, and TESC. Good luck with your school search!

For the MBA, the following are relatively inexpensive and AACSB-accredited (I think) MBAs from schools that, while not exactly Ivy League, are at the very minimum solid and respectable--not likely to cause an interviewer to get the same look on their face that the principal got when you were hauled into the office all those years ago.

West Texas A & M, Ball State, Arkansas-Little Rock, University of Texas-El Paso, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Cal State-Sacramento.

Somewhere--maybe somebody here knows--there's a website devoted to the least expensive MBAs that are regionally-accredited, AACSB, etc. If you're a persistent-enough Googler, you should be able to find it.

    Best to you!

Off the top of my head, I know that a couple of these schools either don't offer an MBA by dl (at least not to anyone who can't attend at an in-state cc video satellite campus), or they offer what sounds like an MBA (MSBA CSU-Sacramento) but is, in reality, more of an MS in Taxation. I would guess that MRW made the same mistake that I have done, and got these schools off the Business Week list. Nice list, but not completely accurate.
Geteducated.com has a free ebook listing graduate business programs. The guide lists the least expensive programs that have AACSB and the top 25 that have only RA. As with the BW list, it isn't completely accurate. In addition, some of the rates listed are for in-state tuition, with out of state tuition costing many times as much. Still, I think it is a very good resource to start out your search. (In addition to, the BW list, the US News site, and of course, the newest edition of the Bears' guide.)
Geteducated.com also has a free ebook listing undergraduate programs.
Also, one of the best sites listing business undergrad degrees is maintained by Gus Sainz. Link

Good luck in your search. If you are looking for something more specific, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Tony:

I don't just pay attention to BW, USN, or Jonnie's, but all three, but which ones are just in state, video-conference? I'd like to know, I don't want to mislead now or in the future. I've read on Jonnie's, for examp, that Nebraska is in-state only, but I think that's wrong. The only sure way is to check out the school's website itself.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Ball State and Arkansas-Little Rock both have in-state programs.
Its my understanding that UTEP doesn't offer it's own MBA program, but is part of the UT system telecampus offering an MBA.
Both West Texas A&M and U of Nebraska do offer a dl MBA program.
As stated before, CSU-Sacramento offers an online MSBA Taxation program in which every course is in accounting or taxation, mostly the latter.
I think this is very good advice.

How about the University in Phoenix online? They offer a 20% discount for international students.
