I have a questions for all the paper writers here...

What is the correct format of citing and listing an old book in the reference section of an APA format paper?...

let us use Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations as an example. It was first published in Scotland in 1776 but the copy I use was published by Modern Library in 1993. Say I used a quote from page 253..how would it be cited in the paper and listed in the refereneces.

    Source
    Reference: Edition Other Than First
    (Republished Book)

Creech, P. J. (2004). Radiology and the technology of the absurd. Boston: Houghton-Mifflin. (Original work published 1975)

After the author's name, list the most recent date of publication you can find. In the text citation, give both dates: (Creech, 1975/2004).
