The one quote that IMO slanders DL is:

The quote makes it sound like the professor gives "open notes and open-book exams" to DL students only. I think most people would think that implies that DL education is easier other than the time management. I know that many of you have faced the "open-book exame from hell", but I think most people would assume that open-book is easier.

 

I think you are correct both as to public opinion and as to its error.

 

Give me a good old fashion test over a take home exam anyday, lol...
