Hi All, I have a friend who is studying in Germany in Oriental Studies. She's been living there for like 3 years already and she would like to end the endless route for a German degree. So, she wants to know if there is any Final Year top-up degree (either online or distance learning) that she can go for. She is open to ANY final year programme, from decent accredited universities (NO mills). She wants to know about the options she has. She also understands her study quite limits her transfer. But then, she is a smart lady who speaks English, Chinese, and German. Any suggestion? Thanks, Mike
The Open University should probably give her 240 points for her study in Germany, leaving her only a final year of another 120 points (or 2 level 3 courses) to do. See http://www3.open.ac.uk/credit-transfer/overseas/8.shtm for more details. Given that she's been doing oriental studies, she might want to look at the BA in International Studies http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?Q01B11_1_0 or the BA in Humanities http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?Q01B03_1_0 Hope this helps Angela
