Has anyone transferred between the Big 3? I am asking because I am leaning towards enrolling at Excelisor however it doesn't seem cost effective to take advantage of the FEMA EMI courses while there so I was considering moving over to TESC perhaps later on. I don't want to take too long deciding which institution and at the same time I want to take advantage of those courses. Any suggestions?

If you move, expect a credit-by-credit evaluation to take place, and some of your credits not being accepted (or fit into the new degree program).

That said, Excelsior tends to accept credits awarded by another school for things they themselves don't award credit for directly, like life experience portfolios. I'm not sure if the other two schools act accordingly. (For example, I don't know if credits earned at Excelsior for the GRE Subject Exam would be accepted by TESC, which doesn't award credits for that exam.*)

Talking to representatives at each school about your plans wouldn't hurt.

*I think they don't. They didn't used to, and there's little information on their website about none-TESC exams.
